Maria and Technology
As educators in an ever-changing world, especially with the effects of Covid-19 and the threat that we may have to go virtual in our teaching once again........................do you think that school districts should reevaluate their curriculum and change it to include more technological standards, goals, and objectives? What would be the benefits of this and/or the drawbacks? Do you think as the world changes, schools should update their curriculum to make it more project-oriented, individualized, and technologically advanced? Are there social drawbacks to becoming more technologically sophisticated? What might they be/or NOT be?

Dr. Ries asks a question about curriculum input
Since you began your teaching career how often have you participated in curriculum design? Have you been part of a curriculum committee? For what particular subject matter were you and your committee members asked to create/change a curriculum? Were you charged with creating a K-12 curriculum or were you charged with creating a curriculum for only one grade level? Was it easy? What was your experience with regard to working on such a committee? How did your committee make sure that the other teachers accepted/bought into the new curriculum?
